High-Performance Big Data Batch Processing Framework

Thrill is a C++ framework for distributed Big Data batch computations on a cluster of machines. It is currently being designed and developed as a research project at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and is in early testing.

Thrill is the result of a one-year long student project with a team of six students, and four supervisors. As a team we conceptualized and prototyped the C++ Big Data framework. My main contribution was the data design, network communication, and concurrency models. See my report as pdf
